CIPA Contest Coordinator Positions Now Available to Interested Applicants:

For the 2014 season, CIPA will employ two contest coordinators to oversee the preparation for and administration of all shows throughout the contest season.  Duties will also include the review of show host applications and the creation of the contest schedule.  Qualified individuals would be required to be present for all shows within their geographic region (we plan to have one coordinator for TN/KY/VA and one for NC/SC) and would not be permitted to have any other obligations on contest days (this would eliminate instructors and judges).  Those selected for these positions will receive a $500 stipend from the circuit as well as a $150 stipend for each show, plus travel costs and lodging, payed by the show host.  We estimate that each contest coordinator will earn roughly $2000 throughout the season in this role.  Anyone who would like to be considered for one of these positions should contact the CIPA Executive Board via Chris Moss to be considered.  We would like to have these positions filled with quality people as soon as possible.  Come be a part of CIPA 2014!
